Patient Records

At all times your medical record is treated with strict confidentiality.  However, from time to time, the Day Surgery or your doctor may be required by law to disclose the information within the medical record.  Relevant information from your record may also be sent to your General Practitioner to assist them with your continuing care and/or to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for entitlement purposes.  You will be required to sign a Ramsay Health Care Privacy Policy prior to or on admission in relation to this.
